Our Natural Processed coffee is only offered in a light/medium roast at this time as that is the roast that best highlights all the characteristics of this unique coffee!

Natural Process is a traditional method of processing coffee. This method involves drying coffee cherries with their pulp intact. This can take anywhere from 3- 4 weeks depending on the weather conditions. The bean is completely sun-dried (similar to how raisins are made from grapes) and then “hulled” to remove the pulp afterward. Natural processing is much more labor intensive than washed processing or honey processing which is why this coffee is more expensive.

The flavor profile of a natural process is super fruit-forward and is great for adventurous coffee drinkers and those who typically only drink fruity teas. It is unlike any coffee you’ve had before (other than other natural processed coffees) and is a real treat!
